We know what beat us this weekend - turnovers. In two weeks, we've fumbled somewhere in the region of 12 times. The defense played lights-out. The offense put up huge numbers in the running and passing game. But we cannot win if we turn the ball over.------------------------------------------------------------------------- Offensive Players of the Week: The offensive line. The line attacked a plethora of fronts and stunts and helped us to what was, at least yardage-wise, one of our best offensive games. The line helped us run the ball very effectively and gave us time to throw well.------------------------------------------------------------------------------ Defensive Player of the Week: Chris Carter. "Free" Chris Carter was free to take shots on the quarterback and running backs and did just that, disrupting the entire Broncos offense for the whole game.------------------------------------------------------------------ Special Teams Player of the Week: Q. Quinton plays on almost every special team. This weekend, he made a big impact on kickoff by chasing down returners from across the field and preventing touchdowns.

Big fifty man u get better soon to u are a huge part of our team and we are going to need u on this championship run. The most important thing though is to get better we are praying for u to. Congrats to our players of the week they did an incredible job but I think honorable mention should go to BIG TIGHT Jermaine Jackson for the game he had also. One batted pass one interception and a forced fumble and a couple of tackles. Great game man keep it up.

I want to apologize to the team for the attitude i caught during the game saturday. Everybody was having an off day as it showed, even though we had some great plays and came out on top we still didnt play at our best. I take it strongly to heart when i know i could have done better, and throughout my highschool years i have never missed a field goal and that really put me down. But you can be damn sure it wont happen again, and i WILL take somebodys head off on defense in the next game. See yall tuesday.........Semper Fi

If there's any lesson we should learn from yesterday's game, even more than "come to practice", it's to support your teammates no matter what the situation is. Finger-pointing is for cowards. If you're not going to be there for your brothers when they struggle, we don't want you there when they're doing well anyway. -------------------------------------------- Offensive Player(s) of the Week: Kermit and Darren. Darren dominated at the point of attack and adjusted well to every front on a wide variety of plays. Kermit came through with some gutsy runs in the clutch. -------------------------------------------- Defensive Player(s) of the Week: Reggie and Elvin. -------------------------------------------- Special Teams Player of the Week: Terry. Terry had a fantastic kick return, during which he dragged the entire Vipers team 20 yards. He also volunteered for kickoff duty and and very nearly recovered the ball doing so.
